Defendant appeals from a judgment of $50,324.21, entered upon the verdict of a jury in a negligence action, and from the order denying its motion for a new trial. The amount awarded was for personal injuries claimed by plaintiff to have been the result of an electric shock he received while using one of defendant's telephone instruments.
