Petitioner seeks a writ of prohibition to restrain the Superior Court of Santa Clara County from taking any further proceedings in a personal injury action in which he is named defendant. He claims that the court did not acquire in personam jurisdiction over him as the result of the service of process on him without the state. There is no merit to his position.
