During the summer of 1950 plaintiff was engaged in carrying on a food products business in the city of Detroit. On or about the 15th of June of that year unknown persons forcibly entered its plant and office, breaking open 2 safes and abstracting money therefrom. Of such money the greater part belonged to plaintiff. In addition thereto certain sums that employees of plaintiff had been permitted to leave there for safekeeping, under a definite arrangement...
