Appellant was convicted of an alleged offense under an indictment charging that on a certain day in 1950 "a valid election was held ... in Itawamba County ... under the provisions of Section 10208, Code 1942, at which election said county by a majority vote of the duly qualified electors voting in said election determined that the transportation, storage, sale, distribution, receipt, and/or manufacture of beer...
