This is an action for damages for personal injuries alleged to have been received as a result of having been struck by defendant's automobile. The jury returned a verdict for plaintiff for $5,000. Defendant filed a motion to set aside the verdict and judgment and to enter a judgment for defendant, or, in the alternative, to grant a new trial.
