This is an appeal from an order of the District Court, denying the motion of a naturalized citizen to reopen a judgment, entered against him by default in an action to cancel his certificate of naturalization. It was heard upon affidavits, and the judge denied it because the defendant's "inaction" for a period of almost seventeen years "indicates the lack of any reason justifying relief from the operation of the decree."
