HOLT, Justice.

On an indictment charging the crime of assault with intent to kill, appellants were convicted and the jury fixed Watkins' punishment at 2 years in the State Penitentiary, Matlock's at 1½ years, and Broomfield's at 1 year. This appeal followed.
