John M. Rosenfeld died on December 30, 1948, leaving a will, dated July 9, 1930. His first wife, Lillian, predeceased him. He was survived by his second wife, Stella, and two children of the first marriage, Robert Rosenfeld and Beatrice Udell. Stella, the surviving widow, elected to take against the will.
