The petitioner, W. H. Vahlberg, was convicted of a statutory charge of second-degree forgery by a jury in the State District Court of Oklahoma County. Upon appeal the Criminal Court of Appeals of Oklahoma, 249 P.2d 736, affirmed the judgment of the lower court but reduced the punishment from 5 years imprisonment to imprisonment for 120 days.
