Shortly after midnight on March 30, 1952, in the San Francisco Civic Center the defendant and appellant successively shot and killed two young men and wounded three others. He was charged by indictment with the murder of the two who died and with assault with intent to commit murder upon the three others. The jury found him guilty of murder in the first degree of Norman Bothelo with recommendation of imprisonment...
