On May 19, 1949, the City of Houston instituted condemnation proceedings to acquire a tract of land owned by E. Huber and others. After the Commissioners' hearing and award, Huber filed no objections, but some other defendants did, and the suit is now pending in the County Court at Law of Harris County.
