This action was brought to recover damages for injuries which plaintiff sustained while riding in a bus operated by defendant. The jury returned a verdict for plaintiff, and defendant has appealed from the judgment.

Plaintiff testified that she was riding in one of defendant's buses and that when she was near her destination she signaled for a stop, arose from her seat while the bus was in motion, and went forward to the stairwell at the right...
