Francis Ravel appeals from a judgment convicting him of two offenses of grant theft, and from an order denying motion for new trial. He was denied probation and sentenced to state prison.

The case was tried without a jury on the testimony received at the preliminary examination and additional testimony given by defendant and his witnesses upon the trial. Included also were exhibits consisting of books of purchase orders, a packing slip, receipt...
