The plaintiff in error Herchel Hammons, defendant below, was charged with the crime of knowingly receiving stolen property, Title 21, § 1713, O.S.A. 1941, to wit, one roan calf about 6 days old, the property of Mrs. H.B. Arterberry. The information alleged the crime to have been committed in Grady county, Oklahoma, on or about April 14, 1951, on the defendant's farm near Pocasset, Oklahoma.
