One Harney, who was a dealer in Packard automobiles at Ogallala, Nebraska, acquired a new Packard car from the manufacturer and executed a chattel mortgage thereon to plaintiff, First National Bank of Ogallala, to secure payment of his promissory note, delivering therewith to plaintiff the regularly assigned manufacturer's certificate of origin showing ownership of said automobile by him, which certificate has since been in the actual possession...
