The conviction is for transferring horse meat in violation of art. 719e, Vernon's Ann.P.C.; the punishment, nine months in jail and a fine of $1,000.

It was stipulated and admitted that appellant was the owner, operator and manager of Kermit Provision Company in Kermit, Texas, on January 22, 1953.

Mrs. Louise Henderson testified that she operated a cafe in the City of Pecos, and purchased all of her hamburger meat from the Kermit Provision...
