This appeal involves the double indemnity benefits1 on two insurance policies, each for $1,000. The insured, Reyford W. Thweatt, died on December 23, 1950, from a pistol shot in the head. The life benefits were promptly paid, but the appellant refused to pay the doube indemnity benefits, and claimed that the insured had committed suicide.
