The only ground of reversal urged in this court is misconduct of the jury. The question submitted is stated by the defendant-appellant as follows:

"Does an offer to a juror of a thing of substantial value, in return for signing a verdict for plaintiff, such offer being made during the trial and to one of nine jurors who thereafter signed a verdict for plaintiff, require the granting of a new trial...
