In our opinion filed on November 7, 1952, 84 D. & C. 110, we upheld the validity of an ordinance of the Borough of Cambridge Springs establishing a license fee for the privilege of maintaining and operating, or permitting the operation of vending machines which may be used for the vending of cigarettes and fixing the license fee at $5 per year. We held that the enactment of such an ordinance was a proper exercise of the police power...
