MILLER, Justice.

John T. Robinson, an employee of Barrow-Penn and Company, Incorporated, instituted action against his employer under the Fair Labor Standards Act1 for overtime pay and damages that he claimed were owing to him.

Plaintiff asserted that during a period of 48 weeks while he was employed by defendant in 1950 and 1951, he worked 32 hours overtime each week, and had thus accumulated 1,536 overtime hours. He sought to...
