OPINION BY GUNTHER, J., January 20, 1953:

Thomas Wood and Margaret Wood, his wife, appellees, instituted this action in trespass against Lit Brothers, appellant, for personal injuries sustained by the wife as a result of a fall in the basement exit of the appellant's department store. The jury rendered a verdict for the wife in the amount of $1,000 and for the husband in the sum of $750. This appeal is from the dismissal of the appellant's motions for new trial and...
