In Count I of an information filed by the district attorney of Los Angeles County, defendants Peter M. Theodore and Charles E. Melton were charged with criminal conspiracy to commit grand theft, 21 overt acts being set forth. In Counts II, III, IV, V and VI, defendant Theodore only was charged with grand theft, each count alleging the felonious taking of money from Fay B. Langendorf.
