This is an action of interpleader by Prudential Insurance Company of America, a New Jersey corporation, brought pursuant to 28 U.S.C.A. § 1335. It involves the proceeds of an insurance certificate for $10,000 on the life of Dr. Hugh Glasgow, a research entomologist, of Cornell University. Upon his death in July 1948 both his widow and his two sisters made claim to the insurance, and Prudential, as an indifferent stakeholder, paid the $10...
