This is a child custody case. Bernice Rice, mother of her three year old minor daughter, Janie Raye Rice, brought action by habeas corups to obtain her custody from Elmer and Grace Messingham, uncle and aunt of Bernice Rice. The writ was sustained and defendants appeal.
