This is a law action to recover a balance due of $1,300 on a loan made on May 1, 1925, and also for the sum of $714 for rent claimed to be due from defendant Bartholomew (Bartlomiej) Smykowski.

It appears that in 1922 defendant moved into the home of plaintiff and her husband in the city of Detroit and remained there after the death of plaintiff's husband in November, 1923 until March or April, 1948. It is the claim of plaintiff that on May 1, 1925...
