Appellant was convicted by a jury on charges (1) of entering a bank at Laurens, Iowa, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, with the intent to steal, in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. § 2113 (a); (2) of stealing from the bank money and traveler's checks belonging to it and money from customers' safety deposit boxes in its custody, the value of each category of property so taken being in excess of $100, in violation of Title...
