This is an appeal by the United States in a war risk insurance case in which there was a verdict and judgment for the plaintiff. The policy was issued on the life of one J. C. Parnell while he was in the military service. He was discharged from the service on November 29, 1943 after a period of hospitalization, and premiums were paid on the policy by allotment through December 31, 1943.
