Plaintiff brought suit to recover for value of a shipment consisting of a carload of farm machinery shipped upon an order bill of lading, claimed to have been misdelivered by defendant railroad to Hickman Farm Supplies, Inc. (hereinafter called Hickman), at Lansing, Michigan. Defendant claims a justified delivery, but claims that if it is found that the delivery was not justified, that plaintiff ratified the delivery.
