Plaintiff Ray Spurlock obtained a verdict for $10,000 against the Union Finance Company as damages alleged to have been sustained by plaintiff through the negligence of the defendant. The trial court overruled the defendant's motion for new trial, but sustained defendant's motion for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict and entered a judgment for the defendant.
