This is an appeal from a judgment of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia following a directed verdict in an action for damages growing out of injuries sustained by appellant when a carton, or carrier, of bottled soft drinks which she was carrying in apellee's self-service grocery store fell to the floor, one or more bottles burst, and appellant was cut by flying glass.
