The claimant comes to us here on direct appeal on constitutional grounds from an order of Special Term, Orange County, denying a motion for leave to serve a notice of claim upon the defendant school district board of trustees after the expiration of the statutory period for such service as provided in section 50-e of the General Municipal Law.
