This is an action for damages arising out of personal injuries suffered by the plaintiff when an automobile in which she was a passenger was struck by one of defendant's streetcars. In addition to other assignments of negligence in the plaintiff's petition, there was alleged a violation of an ordinance of the City of St. Louis which requires the operator of a streetcar to keep a vigilant watch for all vehicles and persons approaching the track...
