Plaintiff brought this action, seeking damages for injuries suffered by her when she fell into a grease pit on defendant's premises, which premises were used by him for the purpose of selling and servicing trucks. At the conclusion of the trial, by the court without a jury, findings were filed which recite:

"That on the 8th day of November, 1949, and prior and subsequent thereto, defendants operated a used truck and sales lot on the Southeast corner...
