OPINION BY ROSS, J., July 17, 1952:

This is an appeal from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Centre County, dismissing relator's petition for a writ of habeas corpus and refusing the writ.

On August 3, 1942, the relator, George F. Sholter, was sentenced by the Court of Oyer and Terminer of Blair County to serve a term of 5½ to 11 years from July 28, 1942, for a conviction on three charges of robbery and attempted robbery. He was committed to the...
