Y., Book 10-B, Correction Law) "Interstate Parole Compacts" with thirty-eight of the other States of the Union. Michigan since 1937 and New York since 1944 have been signatory to the compact, pursuant to section 224 of our Correction Law, the pertinent part of which is as follows:
