This action of negligence comes to the Law Court from Androscoggin County Superior Court upon the plaintiff's exceptions to a directed verdict for the defendant.

The plaintiff, Mrs. Rita Gamache, testified that on September 1, 1950 she was driving her Chevrolet automobile northerly on Lisbon Street in the city of Lewiston towards the intersection of Lisbon and Chestnut Streets. At the same time the defendant was proceeding southerly on Lisbon...
