This is an action between plaintiff, a resident of the State of Kansas, and Loew's, Incorporated, a Maryland corporation, licensed to do business in the State of Missouri, in which the plaintiff seeks to recover damages from the defendant in the amount of approximately $2,000,000 for alleged violation of his copyright interest in and to a literary composition entitled "Cupid Rides the Rails" and by infringement of his common-law literary rights...
