Lucy A. Todd, of Des Moines, Iowa, died at Clarinda, Iowa, May 27, 1950. She was the widow of a Spanish American War veteran and as such drew a pension following his death. The pension was paid regularly thereafter. Some years before her death she became insane and was placed under guardianship and was taken to the State Hospital at Clarinda.
