The defendant was convicted on two counts of the crimes of Forgery and Uttering a Forged Instrument, as defined in Sections 718.1 and 718.2 of the 1950 Code of Iowa, I.C.A., and was sentenced to imprisonment in the State Penitentiary at Fort Madison, for an indeterminate period not to exceed ten years for each count, said sentences to run concurrently.
