Plaintiff in error, Morris Litberg, was indicted in the criminal court of Cook County on counts charging larceny of a motor vehicle, receiving and concealing the vehicle and tampering with the vehicle. He pleaded not guilty, waived a jury and, after a trial before the court, was found guilty on the count charging larceny and sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than three...
