This is an action to recover damages in the sum of $6,000 from a contractor for breach of contract to construct a dwelling house for an owner in a workmanlike manner and with materials prescribed by the contract. It is brought by the plaintiff as the owner who paid the contract price of $7,600 in full to have the house so constructed. It is brought against the defendant as the contractor on the ground that he did not so construct...
