Respondent has determined a deficiency in income tax of $294.50 for the calendar year 1948. Error is assigned on respondent's disallowance of deductions taken by the petitioners on the return as representing (a) travel expense, (b) state cigarette and tobacco tax, (c) sewer tax, (d) cost of work clothing and laundry thereof, (e) entertainment expense, (f) rental of safe deposit box, and (g) a loss of deposit made in a contemplated...
