Reavis B. Stacey and wife Wylene Stacey undertook to build for themselves a dwelling house on a small parcel of land near Chapel Hill. They began this work in April, 1950, and on June 26, 1950, while the house was under construction, they made a mortgage trust deed to secure their note to the First State Bank in the sum of $10,000. The trust deed was acknowledged June 27 and recorded July 1, 1950...
