Appellant was convicted for the sale of gin in a wet area without a permit and given a fine of $200 and 6 months in jail.

A liquor control agent testified that he went to a hotel and approached appellant on the early afternoon of Sunday, August 26th, and purchased a half-pint of gin, for which he paid $2.50.
