In the Spring of 1949 Frederick Fleiszig, Andrew Brandics, Theodore Rachkus and Frank Golob, former employees of the Panther Creek Coal Company, each filed a claim for unemployment benefits under the Unemployment Compensation Act. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1947, chap. 48, pars. 217-250.) Each claim was denied by the claims deputy, whose decisions were thereafter affirmed on appeal to a referee...
