This suit results from the death of Ernest W. Patrick who died from injuries sustained when he fell from a wharf on the river front, in Westwego on the west bank of the Mississippi River, on February 21, 1944. He was survived by his widow, Mrs. Hilda Lee Patrick and six (6) children. Another child, Richard Ernest Patrick, died before the death of the father.
