The appellants Metcalf, Mullins and Brown were tried and convicted under an indictment consisting of ten counts, the first of which charged a conspiracy between May 1st and October 1st, 1950 to transport in interstate commerce motor vehicles, knowing the same to have been stolen, and the remaining nine counts of which charged the substantive offenses of such transportation from Kentucky to Tennessee with respect to nine automobiles. §&...
