This suit arises out of windstorm damage to plaintiff's home which occurred on September 19, 1947. At the time of the storm the plaintiff held a policy of fire and extended coverage insurance issued by the defendant on the said property, which is located in the town of Amite, Louisiana. In this action the plaintiff alleges that the cost of repairing the damage amounted to the sum of $1695.75, which he seeks to recover together with 12% interest and...
