HUDGINS, Chief Justice.

Alberta Lewis, hereinafter referred to as plaintiff, instituted this action to recover damages for personal injuries, sustained while riding on a merry-go-round owned and operated by New Bay Shore Corporation, hereinafter referred to as defendant. The jury returned a verdict for plaintiff in the sum of $1,100, upon which judgment was entered. From this judgment defendant obtained this writ of error.
