This suit, under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 28 U.S.C.A. § 921 et seq.,1 was brought by Alphine B. Brooks, Administratrix of Birvin Brooks, to recover damages for the death of Birvin Brooks which occurred on July 27, 1945 as the result of an explosion in a fire pump house located on government property, while employed by the R.
